Green Roofs
Also known as living roofs or vegetated roofs, are roofing systems that are partially or completely covered with vegetation and planted with various types of plants, including grasses, flowers, shrubs, and even trees. These roofs provide a layer of vegetation on top of the traditional roofing materials, such as waterproof membranes and insulation.
Gross Floor Area (GFA)
Total, gross floor area including the exterior building walls, on all floors of a building or structure.
Gross Leasable Area (GLA)
The gross floor area that is available for leasing to a tenant.
Group S-2 Single-Story Parking Garage
A Group S-2 occupancy classification is designated for parking structures used for the storage or parking of private motor vehicles, such as cars, motorcycles, or light trucks. The parking garage is limited to a single level or story. It does not have multiple levels or additional floors.
